Darkrai ex's ability to inflict an extra 20 damage when moving Energy synergizes perfectly with Dawn, facilitating Energy manipulation. Weavile ex then capitalizes on this weakened opponent with its own damage output. This combination proves highly effective in the current Pokémon TCG Pocket meta, quickly overwhelming decks with longer setup times.

• Spiritomb
• Darkrai ex x2
• Professor's Research x2

• Koga's Trap x2

This deck, reminiscent of the Genetic Apex Koga decks, is more complex but equally powerful. The strategy involves using Weezing's poison for consistent chip damage, while Koga's Trap provides crucial resets. Dawn assists with Pokémon positioning, setting up Darkrai ex for devastating blows after the opponent is weakened by poison. Weezing and Spiritomb's low Energy requirements ensure ample Energy remains for Darkrai ex's attacks.
