What is Elden Ring Nightreign?

Elden Ring Nightreign is a standalone title; you don't need the original Elden Ring to play. Director Junya Ishizaki describes it as a "condensed RPG experience," offering shorter, more intense gameplay sessions with cooperative play for up to three players. Each playthrough begins with level one characters in a randomized world, preventing simple memorization of enemy locations.
