Elden Ring: Nightreign DLC is set for a March 2026 launch, as confirmed by parent company Kadokawa. Learn more about the latest updates on FromSoftware’s upcoming titles.
Elden Ring: Nightreign is scheduled to release a paid DLC around March 2026, confirmed by Kadokawa, FromSoftware’s parent company. While not an official statement from the developers, the details were disclosed in their Q2 Fiscal Year 2025 Earnings Report, which lists the release window as “the end of Fiscal Year 2025.” Since Japan’s fiscal year begins April 1, 2026, this points to a March 2026 launch at the latest.
The announcement follows strong sales performance, with Kadokawa noting that the game “performed well beyond initial expectations.” Though specific recent figures haven’t been shared, FromSoftware revealed that Nightreign reached 5 million units sold within its first month. Kadokawa now plans additional efforts to drive “future sales growth,” though concrete details on the DLC remain limited.
Elden Ring: Nightreign is FromSoftware’s latest release—a multiplayer spinoff of the original Elden Ring. Built on the acclaim of Elden Ring, widely hailed as one of the decade’s finest games, Nightreign introduces co-op multiplayer, roguelike mechanics, and a fresh roster of bosses.
