New Farlight Game Hits Soft Launch

Farlight Games, fresh off a successful 2024 partnership with Lilith Games on AFK Journey, is launching Ace Trainer, a unique blend of tower defense, pinball, and creature collecting. Currently soft-launched in South Korea and the US, Ace Trainer offers a fresh take on the familiar monster-battling genre.

Instead of traditional turn-based combat, players collect, train, and level up fantastical creatures to defend against zombie hordes in a tower defense style. Pinball mechanics are incorporated, adding another layer of strategic resource gathering. This unconventional mix of gameplay elements makes Ace Trainer stand out.

A Risky Formula?

Ace Trainer's eclectic mix of PvP, PvE, tower defense, and pinball mechanics is ambitious, to say the least. While individually popular genres, their combination raises questions about long-term engagement.
