Carmen Sandiego is solving crimes, but she's not one to miss a celebration. Gameloft's contemporary take on the globe-trotting detective has launched a limited-time event to honor PRIDE month.
The event, titled FestiVILE: Carnival Crisis, is now live and runs through July 6th. It invites you into a vibrant new mission set in New Orleans.
This time, VILE has targeted the city’s major PRIDE parade, stealing its prized floral float decorations before the festivities begin. Carmen steps in, racing against time to outsmart VILE and rescue the celebration.
By joining and completing the event mission, you can earn a unique Pride-themed outfit. Once the event concludes, this outfit will be vaulted until next year. Check out the new looks below.
Meanwhile, the game's core story continues with Chapter 4, Part 1 – The Fallen Idol. In this chapter, VILE's latest plot threatens the Great Sphinx of Giza, endangering one of the world's most iconic landmarks.
The chase for clues will take you through Toronto’s Casa Loma and Kensington Market, then on to the bustling Johari Bazaar in Jaipur. You’ll work with ACME to stop the operation before the Sphinx is lost forever.
As a thank-you for the Wishlist Community Challenge, every player will receive the exclusive Beachwear outfit.
FestiVILE: Carnival Crisis also introduces several quality-of-life improvements. A new Auto Collect feature streamlines fact gathering, and helpful pop-up reminders keep you on track. Also, watch for the 'Secrets to Discover' icon in The ACME Files. If a location seems more festive than usual, you're likely on the right path.
