Prochek and Olbram's feud threatens to rage on forever, unless you intervene. Here's how to bring peace to the "Battle of the Frogs and Mice" side quest in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*.
During the pasture confrontation, avoid attempts at reconciliation; this will trigger the fight prematurely. Successfully passing a dialogue check during negotiations might cause an enemy to flee, simplifying the battle. Victory for either side rewards you with groschen.
For a more peaceful resolution, speak to Prochek or Olbram before going to the pasture and ask about ending the feud. Then, travel to Troskowitz and speak with Bailiff Thrush. Select the dialogue option, "You'd finally have some peace."
This requires a successful dialogue check. If successful, access the scribe's room to read the Troskowitz Chronicle. If you fail the check, sneak in (saving beforehand is recommended). Speak with the scribe and choose, "Fecit, ordinem in regione ope clavi ferrei."
At the pasture, locate three oak trees in a row. Examine the middle tree to find a nail. You can:
* Leave the nail in the middle tree (equal division).
* Place the nail in the west tree (favors Tachov).
* Place the nail in the east tree (favors Zhelejov).
The choice's impact is minimal; select your preferred outcome or remain neutral. Afterward, speak with Bailiff Thrush again to finalize the peace agreement. Then, speak with Prochek or Olbram to bring them to the pasture and end the feud. Receive the Master Studies I book as a reward from Bailiff Thrush.
This concludes the peaceful resolution to the "Battle of the Frogs and Mice" in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. For more game tips and information, check out The Escapist.
