Fortnite's Next Season: "Wanted" - Heists, Mortal Kombat, and Smart Building

Epic Games has unveiled the Battle Pass skins for Fortnite's upcoming season, aptly titled "Wanted." This heist-themed season promises high-octane action featuring armed villains, gold-laden vehicles, and explosive bank vaults.

The season kicks off February 21st and includes a thrilling collaboration with Mortal Kombat. Sub-Zero will be a featured Battle Pass skin, perfectly complementing the season's robbery theme. This collaboration coincides with the marketing push for Mortal Kombat 2, the upcoming film.

Skins will be priced at 1,500 V-Bucks each.

Returning weaponry includes the Flare Gun, C4, and the Diplomat turret. Speculation abounds regarding the potential return of other weapons from previous heist-themed seasons, such as the EMP Grenade, classic SMGs, the Tommy Gun, and even the Grappler. However, these remain unconfirmed.

A significant addition is the Smart Building mechanic, anticipating player building needs based on aiming direction. Gameplay mechanics have also been updated, replacing keycards with vault breaches that require Meltanite (a thermite-like substance) to access rewards.
