Framed for Murder at Girls' Boarding School: Was It You?

If you've ever wondered why someone would send their child to boarding school, the new release from inkle, the masterminds behind Overboard, might give you a few more reasons to reconsider. Aside from the typical challenges like peer pressure, loneliness, and an air of snobbery, there's also the added excitement of attempted murder, as seen in their latest game, Expelled!

In Expelled!, you step into the shoes of Verity Amersham, a seemingly innocent schoolgirl at Miss Mulligatawney's School for Promising Girls in 1922. When a prefect is mysteriously pushed out of a window, Verity finds herself accused of attempted murder. With only one school day to clear her name, the clock is ticking as characters move and act independently around you.

Your mission? To exonerate yourself by any means necessary. Whether you choose to uncover the real culprit, frame another student, or resort to brute force with your hockey stick, the choice is entirely up to you. This thrilling narrative adventure lets you navigate the delicate balance between innocence and guilt, as you might discover that Verity isn't as innocent as she seems.

An inkleing Recommending Expelled! comes naturally, especially considering inkle's track record with gems like 80 Days and the murder mystery visual novel Overboard. While Verity might be less sinister than Overboard's protagonist, you have the freedom to play the game straight, pin the crime on someone else, or even embrace your inner vigilante. Catherine Dellosa's glowing review further cements Expelled! as a must-play title.
