In Freedom Wars Remastered, the Cell Garden is a crucial area within your Panopticon that you'll encounter early in the main storyline. Beyond its initial introduction, the Cell Garden serves as a safe haven for resource farming, contrasting with the dangers of external operations.
Throughout the game, you'll discover multiple Cell Gardens, and the method to locate each one remains consistent across different levels. Below, you'll learn how to access any Cell Garden and understand its mechanics for resource collection.
Your journey to the Cell Garden begins with a mission from Mattias, who sends you to investigate a ghost girl story. To reach the Cell Garden, head to Level 2's main cell block, specifically 2-A000. From your cell, turn your attention to the left corner where you'll spot a small room resembling an elevator. Interact with this room to be transported to 2-E165, the same area where you previously encountered Enzo.
Upon arriving at 2-E165, proceed along the right wall to another small room equipped with a device that will transport you to 2-G100. In 2-G100, the far room contains the final device leading to the Cell Garden.
This sequence of steps to access the Cell Garden is uniform across all levels. To streamline your journey, consider unlocking the Quick-Travel Entitlement, which significantly reduces the time spent navigating to the Cell Garden. After completing the main quest associated with the Cell Garden, you'll gain the freedom to visit it or any other Cell Garden at your leisure. However, acquiring a particular Entitlement beforehand can enhance your experience.
Each device that transports you to the next room or to the Cell Garden is marked by a distinctive blue door icon.
The Cell Garden's functionality differs between the main story mission and regular visits. Here's how it operates during your subsequent visits:
To extend your time within the Cell Garden, you can purchase Entitlements from the Window on Liberty. These upgrades are essential for navigating more complex layouts. The first upgrade, available at CODE level 3, extends your stay to two minutes, allowing for more thorough resource collection and puzzle-solving.
