Bethesda and Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic recently teamed up for a special fan initiative impacting the development of the upcoming Elder Scrolls VI RPG.

An anonymous bidder won with a staggering $85,450 bid, earning the right to have a character in TES VI either modeled after themselves or based on their own design. The auction saw participation from individual players and large fan communities like UESP and The Imperial Library, who attempted to honor community member Lorrane Pairrel but were outbid (approximately $60,000).

Bethesda remains tight-lipped about the winning character's role, sparking lively fan discussions. Some express concerns about potential lore inconsistencies, while others view it as a fantastic way to involve the community. Meanwhile, ongoing leaks suggest TES VI will feature advanced shipbuilding, naval combat, and the return of dragons.
