Genshin Impact 5.7 Leaks Reveal Skirk and Dahlia

HoYoverse has announced the new Genshin Impact Version 5.7 update, titled "A Space and Time for You," launching on June 18. This release introduces new characters, advances the storyline, adds a fresh combat mode, and features a tactical mini-game created by the Sumeru Akademiya.

Skirk Joins the Roster in Genshin Impact Version 5.7!

Skirk is an enigmatic Abyss-linked figure, renowned as Childe's secretive mentor. Her combat style is unique, offering two distinct fighting forms and a special mechanic known as Serpent’s Subtlety.

Accompanying Skirk is Dahlia, a new 4-star Hydro character who serves as Deacon of the Church of Favonius. His abilities are primarily support-focused. In the first half of Version 5.7, you can wish for Skirk, Dahlia, and a Shenhe rerun. The second half brings back Mavuika, the Pyro Archon, alongside Emilie.

What’s Next for the Story?

The narrative picks up after the Bedtime Story quest, with the Traveler and their sibling delving deeper as the Abyss Order makes its move in Natlan. Tensions rise on all fronts: Mavuika and her forces prepare for conflict, while Dainsleif reappears in a new guise to aid the Traveler.

In a separate event, the Sumeru Akademiya is launching a simulated adventure blending tactical choices with random events. Players can form a team of Companion Pieces and pick one of two paths—rainforest or desert.

Version 5.7 also introduces Stygian Onslaught, a permanent game mode with three rotating bosses and six difficulty levels. Rewards include Artifacts and a new resource called Dust of Enlightenment, which lets players re-roll substats on Level 20 Artifacts.

Additionally, a new slice-of-life series, Travelers’ Tales: Gilded Chapter, will release, showcasing lighthearted moments from around Teyvat. Characters like Thoma, Neuvillette, and Dori will each feature in their own short stories.
