Genshin Impact is set to enhance the endgame experience with the addition of four new Thespian Tricks at the Imaginarium Theater in Version 5.4, as revealed by the latest beta build. This update features unique poses for Barbara, Sethos, Chiori, and Baizhu. The Imaginarium Theater complements the Spiral Abyss by demanding horizontal investment from players, focusing on a broad range of Elemental characters rather than vertical team building.
To succeed in the monthly challenges of the Imaginarium Theater, players must maintain a diverse roster of characters across various Elements. Each month, the theater restricts players to using only three Elements (with some exceptions), rewarding them with cosmetic items like Envisaged Echoes and Thespian Tricks upon completing its Acts.
A screenshot from the beta servers, shared by Firefly Leaks, has given Genshin Impact enthusiasts a sneak peek at these new rewards. The Thespian Tricks for Version 5.4 will showcase Barbara, Sethos, Chiori, and Baizhu. Notably, Chiori, who had a rerun in Version 5.1, and Baizhu, who will appear in the upcoming Chronicled Banner, are among the highlighted characters.

Chiori's new pose is particularly striking and is expected to be a favorite among fans of the Thundering Seamstress. As a long-term investment, Chiori's full potential shines with a complete set of Constellations, matching the power of top-tier characters like Mualani and Arlecchino. While typically used in Mono Geo teams, Chiori has proven versatile, excelling alongside Navia and forming an effective off-field Double Geo core with Zhongli.
While Version 5.4 may seem modest compared to other updates, with no new map expansion, Archon Quest, or Artifact Domain, and only one new character, it promises significant content with a major Flagship Event set in Inazuma. This event has been eagerly anticipated by the community. Additionally, Version 5.4 will introduce Yumemizuki Mizuki, a 5-star Anemo Catalyst, who will feature prominently in both the Flagship Event and her own Story Quest. The update is slated for release on February 12, 2025.
