Genshin Studio Unveils New Honkai Adventure: Nexus Anima

HoYoverse — the creative force behind Genshin Impact — has revealed its newest Honkai title: Honkai: Nexus Anima.

Between now and September 12, interested players can register for iOS or PC to join the inaugural closed beta, called the Nexus Bond Test, and experience Honkai: Nexus Anima's unique fusion of "creature collection meets tactical adventure." A final release date remains undisclosed.

"In a fractured world where fundamental bonds like Light and Dark or Life and Death have shattered, players will form connections with mystical beings called Anima," the description reveals. "Each possesses distinct abilities that can synergize in combat, opening doors to innovative strategies and untold narratives within the Honkai saga."

A 90-second announcement trailer showcases the game's sunlit coasts and verdant fields, alongside its charming cast of characters. Watch it here:

Earlier this month, HoYoverse announced it would end PS4 support for Genshin Impact "due to hardware constraints and platform storage limitations." We praised the game at its 2020 launch, giving it a 9/10 in our IGN Genshin Impact review.
