Gigabyte RTX 5070 In Stock at MSRP with Doom: The Dark Ages

If you've been on the lookout for a more affordable Blackwell card to be restocked by a trusted retailer, now is your opportunity to get one at its official price. Amazon is currently offering the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5070 Windforce OC 12GB Graphics Card exclusively to Amazon Prime members for $609.99 with free shipping. This GPU delivers outstanding performance for gaming at up to 1440p resolution with high frame rates and includes support for the latest DLSS 4 technology. For a limited time, buyers will also receive a free voucher for the upcoming Doom: The Dark Ages game.

Keep in mind that the suggested launch price for a GeForce RTX 5070 card is $549.99. While a few models are available at that price, they are extremely difficult to find in stock. This Windforce model is priced slightly higher because it is an overclocked version. Still, this is currently the best available price for a standalone RTX 5070 GPU. In fact, according to Tom's Hardware, Nvidia is expected to increase GPU prices by 10% to 15% in the near future.

Compared to previous-generation GPUs, the RTX 5070 delivers performance on par with the RTX 4070 Super. While a bigger leap in raw performance would have been welcome, the RTX 4070 Super was already a fantastic option for 1080p and 1440p gaming. It launched at $599.99—just $10 less than this Gigabyte 5070 model. However, that comparison is mostly irrelevant now, as it’s nearly impossible to find an RTX 4070 Super in stock anywhere near that price. The RTX 5070 performs and looks better than the RTX 4070 Super in games that support DLSS 4 and multi-frame generation, and its future-proof design will benefit from ongoing driver optimizations.

The RTX 5070 may struggle with 4K gaming. For that level of performance, we recommend upgrading to the RTX 5070 Ti. This card is roughly equivalent to the RTX 4080 Super, with the added benefit of DLSS 4 multi-frame generation support. Walmart currently offers a Zotac model for $837.98, sold through Newegg as the marketplace vendor.
