Goat Simulator's Goat Direct showcase wrapped up today, and surprisingly, it was light on the practical jokes that fans have come to expect from the series known for its irreverent humor. Instead, the spotlight was on an array of new merchandise announcements, including plushies and a new line of CRKD controllers, alongside a tease for an upcoming card game.

However, the most exciting news for mobile gamers is the confirmation of the Multiverse of Nonsense expansion pack coming to Goat Simulator 3 on mobile devices. While a specific release date remains under wraps, fans can expect more details soon. As the name suggests, this expansion will take players on a wild journey through parallel universes, featuring environments like a cartoon-themed town, a city populated entirely by goats, and a mythical mountaintop.

But wait, there's more—Coffee Stain North also unveiled a free update for Goat Simulator 3 in honor of April Fool's Day. This 10th-anniversary celebration introduces 27 new pieces of gear, two new events in San Angora, and a unique goat skin inspired by the upcoming Pilgor plushie, set to be released later this year.

It's somewhat fitting that the Goat Direct was light on practical jokes. Given the series' history of ridiculous additions, adding more fake content could have been frustrating amidst the anticipation for real, exciting releases for goat enthusiasts around the globe.
