GTA 6 Trailer Unveils New Song: What's Playing?

Rockstar has unveiled the much-anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 Trailer 2, sparking a flurry of excitement among fans eager to identify the song featured in the new GTA 6 trailer. The trailer, lasting two and a half minutes, immerses viewers in the vibrant and romantic atmosphere of Vice City while reinforcing Rockstar's tradition of integrating stellar music into their soundtracks. Staying true to form, GTA 6's second trailer is set to the backdrop of Hot Together by The Pointer Sisters, an '80s gem that, despite its rarity on today's radio, perfectly encapsulates the essence of this forthcoming open-world adventure.

"Hot Together" serves as the title track from The Pointer Sisters' 1986 pop R&B album, clocking in at four minutes and 13 seconds. This sultry dance track, unmistakably from the '80s, seamlessly blends into the revamped Vice City setting. Although it doesn't rank among the top 10 most popular songs by The Pointer Sisters on Spotify at the time of this article's publication, its inclusion in the trailer is likely to boost its popularity significantly as the day progresses.

GTA 6 made its grand entrance with its first trailer in December 2023, accompanied by Tom Petty's "Love Is a Long Road," offering a dreamy glimpse into Rockstar's new world. The song not only enjoyed a surge in popularity but also fueled fan theories about what the narrative and characters of GTA 6 might entail. Similarly, fans are now dissecting "Hot Together" for clues as they eagerly await the game's launch next year.
