Leslie Benzies, the mastermind behind Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto 5 and Red Dead Redemption, unveils his upcoming project, MindsEye, with a fresh look showcased at PlayStation's State of Play.

Official press materials reveal MindsEye centers around Jacob Diaz, a character implanted with a neural device known as the MindsEye. This implant, however, has fragmented his memories, leaving him with disjointed flashbacks from his military service. His quest to uncover the truth about his past leads him into conflict with an AI-powered military force.

MindsEye has been in development for several years. Following his departure from Rockstar, Benzies established Build a Rocket Boy, collaborating with IO Interactive (Hitman developers) on this AAA action-adventure title. MindsEye will also integrate with the Everywhere platform, previously described as a "high-budget Roblox" following a studio visit in 2024.

While the new trailer omits mention of Everywhere, MindsEye promises a thrilling action experience from a prominent figure in the gaming industry. The game is slated for release sometime in Summer 2025.
