Where To Find Essence Stones in Fields of Mistria

Following the latest update, Essence Stones now appear within mining chests throughout Fields of Mistria. My first discovery occurred while gathering offerings to break the Fire Seal on Floor 60, though these chests spawn randomly across all mine levels and biomes. Stay vigilant for mimic enemies disguised as chests.

Essence Stones come in four sizes: tiny, small, medium, and large. While smaller variants appear more frequently, persistent miners can uncover substantial deposits. Alternatively, you can craft stones after constructing the Stone Refinery within the mines.

How To Craft Essence Stones in Fields of Mistria

The Stone Refinery serves as the primary crafting station for Essence Stones in Fields of Mistria. This new facility becomes available after completing related story quests with Adeline, Olric, and Errol. Construction requires:

• x400 Stone
• x5,000 Tesserae

How To Use Essence Stones in Fields of Mistria

The March update introduced two revolutionary automation systems powered by Essence Stones:

The Animal Sprite Statue enables automatic petting when placed in barns or coops, requiring sustained Essence Stone power. Find this valuable statue in the hidden cave near Errol's house (accessible with Dragon's Breath) or craft additional units as needed.

The Water Sprite Statue provides automated crop hydration within a 2-tile radius. Locate this game-changing item on the eastern island beyond the Lighthouse area - again requiring Dragon's Breath for cave access.

Larger Essence Stones provide extended operational duration, making them the optimal choice for sustainable automation. Expect future updates to expand Essence Stone applications as Fields of Mistria continues development.
