Gully Gangs: 4v4 Street Cricket Beta Launches on Android

Many cricket enthusiasts believe that playing in a narrow alley is way more thrilling than on a proper field. This is especially true in India. Now, an independent Indian studio, 5th Ocean Studios, has released its newest cricket game in Open Beta for Android. It's titled Gully Gangs: Street Cricket.

A Different Kind of Cricket Simulator

Gully Gangs: Street Cricket is a 4v4 multiplayer experience set in the heart of Indian gullies—a Hindi term for tight, narrow lanes.

This is the first 4v4 street cricket game of its kind. You’ll experience rooftop catches, deal with scooters parked in your way, and listen to frustrated neighbors yelling at you for breaking windows. It gets even more exciting with the option to play in 1v1 mode.

The game allows you to unleash powerful moves and communicate with your teammates using voice chat. Talk trash, send emojis mid-game, and even pull off some cheeky tricks to annoy your opponents.

Each location captures the authentic vibe of Indian neighborhoods, with constant activity going on around you. You'll compete using broken stumps, improvised pitches, and unpredictable ball bounces off rugged walls.

There are also plenty of customization options. Build your own cricket crew, dress them in stylish outfits, and unlock unique character skins.

Gully Gangs: Street Cricket Now in Open Beta

5th Ocean Studios has major plans for the game, including new street maps, fresh apparel, regular events, clan battles, and eventually an esports mode. They will also introduce competitive leaderboards, daily and weekly challenges, and intense gang-versus-gang matchups.

For the moment, the game is exclusive to Android, but iOS and Steam releases are in the pipeline. Full controller compatibility and cross-platform functionality are currently under development. Ready to give it a try? You can download it now from the Google Play Store.
