Hearthstone Reveals StarCraft Mini-Set Details and Release Date

Hearthstone's Heroes of StarCraft Mini-Set: A Massive Expansion Arriving January 21st

Get ready for the biggest Hearthstone Mini-Set yet! Launching January 21st, Heroes of StarCraft packs a whopping 49 new cards, blending the universes of Hearthstone and StarCraft.

This crossover expansion introduces class-specific and multi-class cards representing the three StarCraft factions: Zerg, Protoss, and Terran. Zerg cards, for example, synergize with Death Knight, Demon Hunter, Hunter, and Warlock classes, focusing on swarming Zerglings and powerful Hydralisk attacks. Protoss cards bolster Druid, Mage, Priest, and Rogue decks, offering mana manipulation strategies to deploy high-cost cards like the Carrier. Terran cards bring enhanced Starship mechanics for Paladin, Shaman, and Warrior classes, introducing new Starship Pieces and strategies. A single neutral Legendary card, Grunty, rounds out the collection.

The Mini-Set's expanded card pool comes with a slightly higher price point. A complete set costs $20 (or 2500 gold), while the all-Golden version is priced at $80 (or 12,000 gold). However, players can opt for individual faction packs (Protoss, Terran, or Zerg) for $10 (or 1200 gold) each.

To celebrate the launch, Hearthstone is hosting two streamed events:

• StarCast (January 23rd, 10 AM PST): Watch iconic StarCraft players TrumpSC and Day9 showcase the new cards.
• HearthCraft (January 24th, 9 AM PST): See Hearthstone community creators battle it out, representing each StarCraft faction.

Tune in to Twitch for both events to earn two standard and two Golden Great Dark Beyond packs – a fantastic bonus for viewers! Don't miss out on this epic expansion and the chance to grab some free cards.
