Heroes' Might Adjusted in Latest Deadlock Update

Valve's commitment to Deadlock continues, even without a rigid update schedule. The recent patch, while not monumental, introduces significant changes beyond minor tweaks. A comprehensive changelog is available on the game's forums.

Following the January 18th introduction of four new heroes, balance adjustments swiftly followed. Holliday's Crackshot ability now affects units, halving its cooldown when doing so. Calico's Ava ability gains the capacity to destroy objects during its activation.

Veteran heroes also received attention: Kelvin's health increased (600 to 650), Vendicta's bullet speed and movement speed were reduced (bullet speed: 810 to 740; movement speed: 9 to 8). In total, eleven heroes, including the newcomers, received targeted modifications.

Deadlock remains in closed beta, boasting a consistently healthy online player base fluctuating between 7,000 and 20,000 players.
