Honkai: Star Rail – The Herta Team Composition Guide

Mastering The Herta in Honkai: Star Rail

The Herta, a highly anticipated 5-star character in Honkai: Star Rail, offers a unique gameplay experience centered around stacking "Interpretation" to amplify her damage. Unlike her 4-star counterpart, The Herta's effectiveness hinges on maximizing these stacks through frequent ally attacks. This guide explores optimal team compositions to unlock her full potential.

Understanding The Herta's Kit:

The Herta's strength lies in her ability to significantly increase her damage output based on the number of Interpretation stacks she accumulates. These stacks are gained whenever an ally attacks enemies. Therefore, team compositions prioritizing allies with frequent AoE attacks, especially follow-up attacks, are crucial. Her bonus ability, "Message From Beyond the Veil," provides an 80% Crit DMG boost to all allies if another Erudition character is present, making her particularly effective in duo DPS setups.

Premium Team Composition: The Herta + Jade + Robin + Lingsha

This team excels due to its synergy with The Herta's mechanics. Jade, as an Erudition character, provides significant buffs and her quick follow-up attacks perfectly complement The Herta's stacking. Lingsha offers crucial healing and AoE follow-up attacks, mitigating The Herta's HP drain (as the Debt Collector). Robin's buffs to follow-up attacks and overall damage further enhance the team's output. Aventurine can substitute Lingsha, though his single-target follow-up attack is less ideal.

F2P Team Composition: The Herta + Herta + Remembrance Trailblazer + Gallagher

This budget-friendly team utilizes two Herta units for optimal Interpretation stacking. Remembrance Trailblazer provides valuable support and True DMG, while Gallagher offers consistent AoE damage and healing. Serval can replace one Herta, and Pela offers a strong alternative to the Trailblazer, providing AoE attacks and debuffs. Tingyun is a viable option but lacks AoE capabilities, reducing her contribution to stack generation.

Team Role Summary:

• The Herta: Main/Sub-DPS
