HP Omen Max RTX 5090 Laptop: Unbeatable Deal

As part of its 4th of July sale, HP is offering its latest and most powerful gaming laptop at a substantial discount. The Omen Max 16 RTX 5090 Gaming Laptop is now just $2,319.99 with free shipping after applying the 20% off coupon code "LEVELUP20." This is easily the best price available for an RTX 5090 gaming laptop, beating the competition by over $1,000. However, this deal seems almost too good to be true, and there's a possibility your order may not ship. Still, fortune favors the bold, and in the worst case, your order will simply be canceled. The RTX 5090 is currently the most powerful mobile GPU on the market, featuring plenty of VRAM and support for DLSS 4.

HP Omen Max 16" RTX 5090 Gaming Laptop for $2,319.99

HP Omen Max 16" Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX RTX 5090 Gaming Laptop (32GB/1TB)

Original price $3,599.99 – save 36% now $2,319.99 at HP with code 'LEVELUP20'

This HP Omen Max 16 laptop features a 16" 1920x1200 display, an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor, GeForce RTX 5090 graphics, 32GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD. We highly recommend upgrading to the 16" 2560x1600 OLED display for an extra $190 (minus 20% off with the coupon). The GPU can easily handle the higher resolution, and the OLED panel delivers a superior visual experience that matches the premium hardware.

The Core Ultra 9 275HX reaches a maximum turbo frequency of 5.4GHz, with 24 cores and 40MB of total L2 cache. According to Passmark, this is one of the fastest laptop processors available, competing head-to-head with the AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX3D.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 is also the most powerful mobile graphics card available. In raw performance, it's only about 10% faster than its predecessor, the RTX 4090. However, it comes with significantly more VRAM (32GB versus 24GB), faster GDDR7 memory, and DLSS 4 compatibility. The RTX 5090 also outperforms the RTX 5080, and this deal brings the price down to what you'd typically pay for an RTX 5080 laptop. If you want the most powerful laptop under $3,000, this configuration is an excellent choice.

The Omen Max is new for 2025

The Omen Max is essentially a premium version of the Omen 16, featuring better materials—such as an aluminum-magnesium alloy chassis and lid—along with an enhanced cooling system to handle the latest hardware.
