After a considerable wait, NetEase's Once Human has finally launched on mobile, becoming available on iOS and Android starting today. Initially released for PC, the mobile version of Once Human has been eagerly awaited. Now you can dive into a realm combining gunplay and paranormal occurrences.

Set on the continent of Nekot, you assume the role of a Transcendent—one of the few survivors of cataclysmic supernatural events that have devastated the land. Fortunately, you won't rely on swords or spells, but on more contemporary tools like firearms and advanced gadgets.

The most striking aspect of Once Human is its expansive open world. Covering 256 square kilometers, it features diverse biomes and locations to investigate. You can engage in various activities such as fishing and farming, all while facing both PvE and PvP encounters, based on your preferred playstyle.

The blend of a sleek near-future aesthetic and deep gameplay mechanics likely explains the high anticipation for this release. Coupled with a generally favorable reception from even the most discerning PC players, it's certainly worth exploring.

Add to that a comprehensive weapon customization system—a favorite among enthusiasts—and it's clear Once Human targets an audience seeking a darker, more intense experience. Of course, there's still plenty of enjoyment to be found, whether teaming up with friends to establish a base or constructing your ideal survival shelter solo.
