Infinity Nikki Version 1.5 Controversy Compensation Offered

Infinity Nikki has announced compensation for players following technical issues in its Version 1.5 release. Discover what rewards players will receive, along with Infold Games' plans to address the game's current challenges.

Infinity Nikki Version 1.5 Update Overview

Compensation in Free Diamonds

The highly anticipated Version 1.5 update fell short of expectations, prompting Infold Games to address performance issues and content dissatisfaction in a May 18 Twitter statement. Players encountered widespread technical problems across platforms, with some bugs preventing gameplay entirely.

Controversial system changes included increased requirements for 5-star outfits—now demanding 11 pieces instead of 9-10—effectively raising the maximum pull requirement to 220. This adjustment substantially increased both the time and resources needed to complete outfits.

The update introduced a complex new dye system requiring separate color palette unlocks for each clothing item. The Threads of Reunion storyline was temporarily removed as its accompanying outfit remains in development. "Technical challenges prevented proper implementation of the Sea of Stars chapter and Threads of Reunion narrative, causing unintended confusion," developers explained.

Responding to player feedback, Infold Games will distribute daily compensation from June 5-12: 120 Diamonds and 1 Energy Crystal per day (totaling 960 Diamonds and 8 Energy Crystals). While acknowledging the issues, the studio has not yet detailed specific solutions, leaving players questioning changes to pull rates, dye mechanics, and unresolved bugs.

Following Version 1.5's troubled launch, Infold Games has extended the current version's duration to June 12, 2025, delaying Version 1.6 and its scheduled in-game events. The Starlit Pursuit weekly event, initially planned for May 20, will now launch with Version 1.6. Developers stated this delay allows for "mechanical refinements to ensure better gameplay quality," promising 360 Starlit Crystals as compensation.

Upcoming Unannounced Changes

Infold Games acknowledges that Version 1.5's known issues represent only part of the challenges. "Additional adjustments currently in discussion may require extended development periods, which we'll implement through phased updates," they noted.

The studio plans enhanced player communication through the new Miraland Round Table initiative, enabling direct feedback submission via email (using "Table Advisor" in the subject line) or in-game Customer Service. Expressing both regret for delays and appreciation for continued support, Infold Games vows to elevate the game's quality. Infinity Nikki remains available on PlayStation 5, iOS, Android, and PC platforms.
