Infinity Nikki Delays Version 1.6 Amid Community Backlash

After weeks of player frustration and countless questions, the development team behind Infinity Nikki has finally addressed the community’s concerns. If you’re an active player, you’re likely aware of how problematic the Version 1.5 update was—it felt rushed and incomplete. Now, the developers have acknowledged that they weren’t fully prepared for its launch, which has directly led to the postponement of Version 1.6.

When Is the Next Update Releasing?

Version 1.5 officially launched on April 28th, with Version 1.6 initially scheduled for release on June 4th. However, it has now been rescheduled to June 12th. To fill the gap, the ongoing Bubble Season will be extended accordingly.

This means all related events—such as Chase the Bubbles, Rainbow Album, and Where Are the Gifties?—will remain active until June 12th. Additionally, in-game shops like Pear-Pal Selected / Store: Clothing, Heartfelt Gifts, and the Shake Up Bubble Jar! top-up campaign will stay open through the same date. Weekly missions such as Starlit Pursuit, originally set for May 20th, are now part of Version 1.6.

The team has issued a public apology and admitted to performance challenges across platforms—including PlayStation. They’re currently optimizing gameplay systems and have assured players that unfinished content, such as the Threads of Reunion storyline, is not canceled but simply delayed.

Beyond the Version 1.6 Delay – What Else Is Happening in Infinity Nikki?

In recent weeks, players have reported numerous issues including bugs, malfunctioning quests, and co-op mode instability. As a form of goodwill, the developers are offering daily compensation from June 5th to June 12th: 120 Diamonds and 1 Crystal per day, redeemable upon logging in.

Some players, however, view this as a last-minute attempt to improve engagement metrics following the botched update. Adding fuel to the fire, promotional banners for new outfits began appearing almost immediately after the apology message was posted—further frustrating the community.
