Early in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, you'll encounter branching side quests in Tachov and Zhelejov, requiring you to choose between helping Prochek or Olbram. This guide clarifies whether you can support both, and which choice might be more advantageous.

Can You Help Both Prochek and Olbram in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*?

The inhabitants of Tachov and Zhelejov are locked in a bitter feud. Fortunately, you can complete most quests for both Prochek and Olbram, provided you approach them strategically. This approach unlocks a more complete understanding of the settlements' backstories. While a fully satisfactory outcome for both sides is impossible, it allows you to experience a broader range of the game's content.

Should You Choose Prochek or Olbram in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*?

If you must choose, there's little practical difference. Both aim to sabotage the other, making the decision largely a matter of personal preference.

Olbram's quest involves stealing the Zhelejov maypole, requiring nighttime stealth and potentially distracting a guard. Prochek's quest tasks you with painting Olbram's bull blue, demanding you obtain a recipe from Radovan and dye from the tailor.

Prochek's task presents a slightly higher difficulty, especially early in the game. You might lack sufficient groschen or Speech skill for smooth dialogue. Therefore, siding with Olbram initially may be easier. However, both questlines are detailed below.

How to Start "Mice" for Prochek in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*

Initiate the "Mice" quest by speaking with Prochek in Tachov. If you can't locate him, check the local inn and speak with the innkeeper.

Obtaining the Dye and Lullaby Potion

Ingredients for Lullaby Potion

After speaking with Prochek, travel to Troskowitz and purchase dye from Bartoshek the tailor.

For the lullaby potion, either work as an apprentice blacksmith for Radovan in Tachov or charm the recipe from him. The recipe requires oil, poppy, and thistle; the herbs can be gathered from the garden outside Troskowitz's apothecary.

Once brewed, head to Zhelejov, pour the potion into the bull's trough, and paint the bull once it's asleep. Return to Prochek to complete the quest. You can then speak with Olbram to begin the "Frogs" quest.

How to Start "Frogs" for Olbram in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*

Find Old Olbram in Zhelejov near the meadow and agree to retrieve the maypole to begin the "Frogs" quest.

Stealing the Maypole

In the evening, approach the Tachov maypole. Henrik guards it; you can knock him out or, with sufficient Speech, persuade him to leave his post.

Speak with Henrik about Manka, arrange a secret rendezvous for them, and inform Manka at the inn. Once Henrik leaves, climb the maypole and cut it down.

Return to Olbram. He'll request you chase sheep from a Tachov pasture and deliver a digestive potion to Alshik. You can complete this task or inform Prochek of Olbram's plan to conclude both quests.
