Kombat and Rock Collide: Hidden Fighter Unveiled!

This week's Mortal Kombat 1 update brought a surprise addition to the roster: Conan the Barbarian. But the real unexpected guest is Floyd, a pink-clad ninja who's anything but a joke. This secret fighter is a clear nod to Pink Floyd, his introduction mirroring the band's iconic Dark Side of the Moon album cover with its light dispersion effect.

Interestingly, Floyd's moveset is a blend of other ninjas' techniques, borrowing Sub-Zero's freezing abilities and Scorpion's spear attacks. Adding to the fun, he boasts a quirky 1337 health points.

Long-time fans might experience a sense of déjà vu. Floyd's secret character status and borrowed moves echo the original Mortal Kombat's hidden Reptile, a notoriously difficult opponent with a similarly eclectic moveset.

Unlocking Floyd currently appears somewhat random, though he offers clues to the required challenges. The community is actively working to decipher the exact method to trigger this encounter, but a definitive solution remains elusive.
