Lenovo Legion 5i Intel Core i7-14650HX RTX 4070 Gaming Laptop (32GB/512GB)

$1,499.99 save 20% - $1,201.12 at Amazon

The Lenovo Legion 5i gaming laptop is equipped with a stunning 16" 2560x1600 QHD+ IPS display, an Intel Core i7-14650HX processor, a GeForce RTX 4070 GPU, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 512GB SSD. The Intel Core i7-14650HX, a 14th generation CPU, boasts a max turbo frequency of 5.2GHz with 16 cores, 24 threads, and a 30MB cache. This processor excels not only in gaming but also in multi-purpose tasks, outshining even the newer Intel Core Ultra 7.

The RTX 4070 mobile GPU, with its 140W TGP (including Dynamic Boost), delivers impressive performance on the native 2560x1600 QHD+ display. It competes well against the newer Blackwell cards, such as the RTX 5070 Ti mobile GPU, which only offers a performance increase of about 10%-15% despite its significantly higher cost.

Currently, we're in a transitional phase where deals on RTX 40 series laptops are less common, and RTX 50 series laptops are too new for their prices to have dropped to reasonable levels. Additionally, ongoing tariff issues make it challenging to find "good" laptop deals compared to late last year. This deal, already impressive, is even more attractive in the current market.
