Marvel Rivals, the thrilling 6v6 hero shooter, offers smooth matchmaking, but the real fun lies in teaming up with friends. This guide explains how to add friends and play together in Marvel Rivals. Note that currently, cross-progression and cross-play are unavailable, limiting friend additions to the same platform. However, developers have confirmed these features are planned for future updates.

Adding Friends in Marvel Rivals

1. Locate the Friends Icon: Upon launching the game, find the friends icon (usually a person silhouette or similar) in the upper-right corner, typically near your player profile icon.

2. Recent Players: Clicking the friends icon displays a list of recently played players. Select a player from this list to add them to your friends list.

3. Search and Add: Alternatively, use the search bar to enter a player's username. Press Enter, and then add the player from the search results. They must accept your friend request before appearing on your list.

Playing With Friends

Once your friends list is populated, playing together is straightforward:

1. Access Friends List: Click the friends list icon (same location as before).

2. Invite a Friend: Locate the friend you wish to play with, select their username, and send an invitation.

3. Queue for Matches: You'll then be able to queue for quick play or competitive matches as a team.

Console Players: Friends added on your console's friend list should automatically appear in your Marvel Rivals friends list, simplifying the invitation process.
