Disney+ has unveiled first-look footage from its late 2025 lineup, showcasing a mix of new and returning series like Marvel's "Wonder Man," the "King of the Hill" revival, the eagerly awaited television debut of the "Alien" franchise with "Alien: Earth," and the new true-crime adaptation "The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox," along with several other projects.
The upcoming MCU series is arguably the most anticipated, though much of the rest of the new slate is not far behind. In the "Wonder Man" clips, viewers are introduced to Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Candyman) as Simon Williams, an actor and stunt performer with superpowers who is auditioning for the lead role in a superhero television series—a decidedly meta premise.
Although the sneak peek is brief, running only 60 seconds, it delivers fast-paced and thrilling glimpses of "Wonder Man," also featuring legendary actor Ben Kingsley in a key supporting role.
Kingsley reprises his role as Trevor Slattery, the hapless actor previously kidnapped by the Ten Rings who later became the court jester for immortal warlord Xu Wenwu. The footage shows the two characters in conversation, along with scenes from what appears to be an audition and a tense moment on a film set.
Beyond "Wonder Man," the preview for "Alien: Earth" is certain to build even more excitement for the series. Fans catch a look at the spaceship that crash-lands on Earth, setting the story in motion, as well as Sydney Chandler as the series' protagonist—the first human-robot hybrid.
Furthermore, the lineup includes upcoming series such as "Chad Powers" starring Glen Powell and Ryan Murphy's legal drama "All's Fair," plus the second season of "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" and the fifth season of "Only Murders in the Building"—all highlighted in the dynamic sizzle reel.
