Metaphor: ReFantazio's dungeons often feature formidable mini-bosses, and the Faithwight Magileto in the Spire of Blind Faith is a prime example. This challenging encounter demands strategic preparation and a bit of luck.
| Weakness | Repel | Resists | Blocks |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strike | Light | Pierce | Electric |
This level 50 enemy can summon additional level 50 foes, making it ill-advised to engage below level 45. The Magileto wields potent dark and light magic, both single-target and AoE (Megidolaon), amplified by passive damage buffs. Its Soul Scream grants four Press Turn icons, and it can summon level 50 skeletons.
These summoned skeletons boast strong slashing attacks, dark magic, powerful buffs, and access to high-level healing spells, quickly restoring the Magileto's health. Their weakness, however, lies in Strike attacks.
Even at level 50, this battle is arduous. Below that level, it's significantly more difficult. Pre-battle preparation is crucial:
Archetype selection is flexible, prioritizing those resistant to Dark, Light, and Slashing attacks, and maximizing Strike skills. Prioritize Strength-heavy Archetypes if possible. Equip at least two party members with party-wide healing spells.
During Combat:
The fight involves some luck; consecutive Megidolaons are nearly unsurvivable. Dark and Light Dodge significantly mitigate damage. Prioritize eliminating summoned allies before their healing spells are utilized. Dekaja can dispel enemy buffs. Aim for at least six Strike attacks and two party-wide heals per turn to maximize Press Turn and recovery.
