Parallel Experiment: A Co-op Crime Thriller Coming to Steam and Mobile
Eleven Puzzles' Parallel Experiment, a cooperative crime thriller puzzler, is slated for a Steam release this March and a mobile demo launch later in 2025. This exciting title tasks players with solving the mystery of a ruthless killer, taking on the roles of detectives Ally and Old Dog.
Fans of cooperative puzzlers like Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes will find familiar territory in Parallel Experiment. Players, often situated in separate locations, must communicate clues and collaborate to overcome challenging puzzles.
The game boasts over 80 individual puzzles, a retro-style in-game notebook for clue tracking, cooperative dialogue, and a captivating noir comic book aesthetic. Adding a playful touch, the game even includes features allowing detectives to playfully annoy each other, such as knocking on windows or poking their partner.
What's in the box?! Cross-platform play is a key feature, enabling seamless collaboration between desktop and mobile players. While desktop players can utilize platforms like Discord, mobile players will find creative new ways to communicate and, perhaps, distract their partners.
Although the co-op puzzle genre isn't new, Parallel Experiment benefits from extensive testing and refinement, promising a polished mobile experience.
