Modern Era Star Trek Series Ranked

Since the launch of *Star Trek: Discovery* in 2017, the Star Trek franchise has been thriving in the modern era, culminating in the recent release of *Star Trek: Section 31* on Paramount+. While *Section 31* didn't meet all expectations, there have been standout moments that rank among Star Trek's finest. With the ups and downs of *Section 31* and the acclaimed *Strange New Worlds*, now is the perfect time for fans to rank the modern Star Trek series. Although *Section 31* is technically a movie, we're including it in our rankings since it originated as a series concept.

We invite you to create your own tier list and compare it with the IGN community. Is *Strange New Worlds* truly at the top of the list? Does *Discovery* deserve more than the current D ranking? It's up to you to decide!

Star Trek Series of the Modern Era

Personally, I found the third season of *Picard* to be a remarkable redemption, more than compensating for the shortcomings of the first two seasons, earning it a solid A. *Prodigy* also holds a special place in my heart, essentially serving as the *Voyager* sequel I never knew I needed, warranting at least a B, if not higher.

You can view my tier list below and then explore how to watch Star Trek in chronological order, get the latest updates on the upcoming Star Trek live-action comedy and *Starfleet Academy* series, and delve into what happened with *Star Trek 4*.
