Monopoly GO and Star Wars Team Up for Summer Podracing and Lightsaber Fun!

Monopoly GO! is about to take players on an epic intergalactic journey with its latest collaboration: Star Wars. Following the success of last year’s Marvel partnership, Scopely has launched one of its most ambitious crossovers yet—Monopoly GO x Star Wars, a limited-time event packed with iconic characters, themed gameplay, and exclusive collectibles.

When Is the Monopoly GO x Star Wars Collaboration?
The event officially begins on May 1st and will run until July 2nd. The storyline kicks off in a playful and imaginative way: PEG-E, the beloved Monopoly GO robot, watches a Star Wars film in Mr. M’s private cinema. Inspired by what she sees, she dreams herself and her friends into the Star Wars galaxy, transforming the game from real estate battles into an epic clash between Jedi and Sith, light side versus dark.

What’s Included in the Monopoly GO x Star Wars Collab?
Players can look forward to a brand-new Star Wars GO! sticker album, which unfolds like a comic book retelling key moments of the Star Wars saga through PEG-E’s creative lens. The album features a wide array of recognizable characters such as R2-D2, C-3PO, BB-8, Yoda, Mace Windu, Luke Skywalker, Rey, Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, Grogu, Qui-Gon Jinn, and the Mandalorian.

In addition to collecting stickers, the game's usual Monopoly GO events are being reimagined with a Star Wars twist. Mini-games will now take place on Tatooine and other iconic locations, including the Mos Espa Grand Arena. Fans can even catch quirky in-game cameos, like Qui-Gon Jinn and Mr. M going head-to-head in a thrilling podracing showdown.

More Galactic Fun Awaits
The official trailer for the collaboration debuted at Star Wars Celebration Japan, offering a sneak peek into how deeply Star Wars lore will be woven into the gameplay. Expect lightsabers, hyperspace travel, and immersive galactic vibes throughout the experience.

As with previous major events, players will have the chance to unlock exclusive Star Wars-themed cosmetics, including custom tokens, shields, and emojis. For ongoing updates and announcements during the event, be sure to follow the game’s official social media channels.
