Monopoly GO: Unlocking the Power of Wild Stickers

Monopoly GO's Wild Sticker: A Game Changer for Sticker Collectors

Monopoly GO, the mobile adaptation of the classic board game, has introduced a game-changing element: the Wild Sticker. This unique card allows players to select any missing sticker from their current album, significantly boosting their chances of completing sets and albums. This is a welcome addition, especially considering the previously luck-based nature of obtaining stickers.

Understanding the Wild Sticker

The Wild Sticker acts as a wildcard, enabling players to choose any missing sticker, including the elusive and non-tradeable Gold Stickers. This contrasts sharply with the traditional, random sticker pack openings. It introduces strategic choice into sticker acquisition, allowing players to target specific stickers crucial for album completion.

Utilizing the Wild Sticker

Upon receiving a Wild Sticker, players are presented with a list of their missing stickers. They can then select any desired sticker, from common to rare Gold stickers, to add to their collection. Completing a set or album using a Wild Sticker grants the same rewards as completing them through standard sticker packs. However, it's important to note that the selection is final and cannot be undone. Furthermore, Wild Stickers cannot be saved for later use; the choice must be made immediately.

Is Purchasing Wild Stickers a Smart Move?

Scopely frequently offers discounted Wild Stickers, particularly towards the end of an album's completion. This can be a tempting option when only a few stickers are needed to claim the grand prize. While other methods exist for acquiring stickers, purchasing a Wild Sticker can be a time-saving investment when nearing album completion, quickly overcoming the final hurdle. Weigh the cost against the value of immediate completion.
