What’s Coming in Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 1 & Roadmap

During PlayStation’s 2025 State of Play broadcast, Capcom showcased the launch trailer for *Monster Hunter Wilds*, which included a surprise roadmap for future content. This roadmap promises a thrilling journey for hunters worldwide.

Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 1 – Mizutsune, Event Quests, & Additional Updates

Leading the charge in Title Update 1 is the beloved monster Mizutsune. Known for its dragon-type classification and its habitat in aquatic environments, Mizutsune uses bubble-laden attacks that can inflict Bubbleblight, challenging even the most seasoned hunters. Its distinctive pink scales and purple fur not only make it a formidable foe but also a source of some of the most aesthetically pleasing gear in the game.

Alongside Mizutsune, Title Update 1 will introduce a new set of Event Quests. These quests, accessible via the game’s Mission Board, will challenge players to slay various monsters for valuable rewards. While the exact number of Event Quests remains undisclosed, they are sure to keep players engaged and motivated.

Additionally, the update will include "additional updates" slated for Spring. Although specifics are not yet available, these could involve optimizations or performance enhancements, which are crucial for ensuring a smooth gaming experience in *Monster Hunter Wilds*. Feedback from the recent beta test suggests that the game is on track for a robust launch.

Monster Hunter Wilds Summer Title Update 2 & Beyond

The roadmap also teases a Summer 2025 Title Update 2, which will introduce another new monster to the game. Whether this will be a fresh face or a returning favorite remains a mystery, but it promises to add even more variety to the game's roster. More Event Quests will also be added, ensuring that hunters have plenty to do.

Beyond these two updates, the roadmap for *Monster Hunter Wilds* remains open-ended. However, given Capcom's commitment to the game's success, more content and surprises could be on the horizon.
