During the ID@Xbox Showcase, the creators of Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault debuted an exciting new trailer, offering a sneak peek at the eagerly awaited sequel. The game is set to launch on Xbox Game Pass on its release day, expected before year-end. Developed by Digital Sun in collaboration with publisher 11 bit studios, this isometric action-adventure RPG blends roguelike elements. Players will transform a humble shop into a thriving business by exploring dungeons, gathering rare artifacts, and confronting formidable enemies.
Digital Sun has expanded on the original game, delivering richer storytelling and refined gameplay. The narrative centers on Will, who embarks on a quest to find his home dimension in the vast world of Trense. Along the way, he reconnects with familiar allies and forges new friendships. A mysterious trader enlists him to uncover powerful relics that could lead him home. Featuring a soundtrack by renowned composer Chris Larkin, known for Hollow Knight, Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault is slated for release later this year on PC (Steam), Xbox Series, and PS5.
