For most users, the standard iPad (not the Air, Mini, or Pro) strikes the perfect balance, offering the full iOS experience and snappy performance at a budget-friendly price. The current generation, released on March 12, 2025, marks a significant upgrade over the previous model from October 2022. Key improvements include a more powerful A16 processor compared to the A14, increased RAM from 4GB to 6GB, and enhanced storage from 64GB to 128GB. Remarkably, the launch price of $349 is actually lower than the previous generation's $399.

The unchanged features include the 10.9" Liquid Retina 2360x1640 (264ppi) display, USB Type-C charging, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, and the same camera. Additionally, it's compatible with the Magic Folio keyboard, transforming it into a mini laptop for enhanced productivity, making it an excellent choice for students. It also supports the newer Apple Pencil with USB-C.

$100 Off the New 2025 Apple iPad Air (M3)

Amazon is currently offering the 7th generation Apple iPad Air M3 at its lowest prices to date. The 11" model is available for $499, and the 13" model is priced at $699, both with a $100 instant discount. These are the best deals we've seen for the 2025 model equipped with the M3 chip. Released in March, this model is just one year newer than the 6th generation, with the primary upgrade being the transition from the M2 to the M3 chip.
