What is Donkey Kong Country Returns HD?

This isn't the first re-release for Donkey Kong Country Returns. Following its 2010 Wii debut, Nintendo ported it to the 3DS in 2013, adding eight exclusive levels. This HD version includes all original Wii levels plus those extra 3DS stages.

Known for its challenging gameplay, this release offers both the original difficulty and an easier mode (from the 3DS version) with extra hearts and assistance. Expect classic platforming action: leaping across gaps, swinging on vines, barrel blasting, banana collecting, and more. Two-player couch co-op is also available after finding Diddy Kong.

Donkey Kong Country Returns HD is a highly recommended title, receiving an 8/10 rating in our review. Check out the review for a detailed breakdown of the improvements and overall experience.
