What’s New in Oblivion Remastered?

Developed by Virtuos Games while Bethesda continues work on The Elder Scrolls VI, this remaster introduces several key improvements over the original release:

Completely overhauled visuals with dynamic lighting, updated character models, and remastered environments. Refined combat mechanics and quality-of-life UI enhancements. Native support for widescreen and ultra-widescreen displays. Full controller support and Steam Deck compatibility. Enhanced modding tools for the community.

The remaster retains the vast open world that earned Oblivion IGN's 2006 Game of the Year award, while modernizing its performance on Unreal Engine 5 to meet today's standards.
