Best Online Co-Op Games On PlayStation Plus Extra & Premium (January 2025)

PlayStation Plus Extra offers a diverse library catering to various gaming preferences, including extensive RPGs like Dragon Quest XI and Skyrim, shorter action titles such as Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and competitive multiplayer games like For Honor. This variety extends to cooperative gameplay, encompassing both local and online experiences. This article focuses on the best online co-op games available through the PS Plus subscription service.

While a separate article covers local co-op and split-screen games, this list prioritizes titles offering solely online co-op, with a few exceptions. Ranking considers not only game quality but also recency of addition to PS Plus.

Note: The January 2025 PS Plus Extra and Premium additions are not yet included in this list. However, the Essential tier included a noteworthy, albeit divisive, title supporting online co-op.
