Vote Now for the 2025 P&G People's Choice Awards

After several weeks of nominations, voting is now officially open for the Pocket Gamer People's Choice Award 2025. You submitted a range of outstanding game suggestions, which have now been narrowed down to twenty finalists. If your favorite title from last year is among them, great – but your role isn't over yet. Voting is open until midnight on July 31st, so be sure to participate (and spread the word) if you want your pick to win.

If you missed the nomination phase, don’t worry. It’s likely a game you enjoyed in the past year made the shortlist – you can check it out below:

• Balatro
• Battle Cars: Nitro PvP Shooter
• Bloons Card Storm
• Etheria: Restart
• Fortnite
• Gordian Quest
• I Am Your Beast
• Lara Croft: Guardian of Light
• Marvel Mystic Mayhem
• Monument Valley 3
• Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket
• Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
• Scattered Verse
• Shogun Showdown
• Songs of Conquest
• Squid Game: Unleashed
• Sunset Hills
• The Star Named EOS
• Thronefall
• What the Clash?

What an impressive lineup, isn't it? As always, I'm glad that the final choice is in your hands — selecting just one winner from such a strong group would be tough for me. Of course, it doesn't help that Dredge didn’t make the cut. Shame on you! Just kidding — the People’s Choice Award truly reflects the community’s voice, not mine.

When will we find out the winner?

Now that you know voting closes at midnight on July 31st, what comes next? When will the winners be revealed? We're hosting a glamorous awards ceremony (or so I imagine — it should be quite the event) on Tuesday, August 19th. Those in the know will recognize this coincides with Gamescom, so it’s no surprise the event will take place at the Gürzenich in Cologne. Shortly afterward, everything will be published on our website — so no need to dress up if you prefer watching from home, like me.
