Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage is coming to mobile later this year

Among the most eagerly awaited releases I covered last year, one that truly stands out is the upcoming Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage. The original Pirates Outlaws was a stylish, swashbuckling roguelike deckbuilder that emerged when the genre was still gaining traction. Now, its sequel is set to make waves with a Q3 release this year!

This "seaquel" transports you back to New Elysia, embarking on another thrilling journey across the ocean waves. Simply select your character, class ability, and starting deck, and set sail on your adventure!

In Pirates Outlaws 2, you have the freedom to choose from multiple characters, each with seven class options. Customize your deck and recruit an animal companion to enhance the strategic depth of your battles. With enhanced turn-based combat, a new card evolution tree, and more, you'll have a plethora of tools at your disposal to conquer the high seas!

**Run out the guns** - Pirates Outlaws 2 promises to be an expansive sequel, allowing you to navigate freely across the map with countless permutations and combinations of cards and characters. For PC gamers, an upcoming Steam demo will be your first chance to get your hands on Pirates Outlaws 2!

My only concern arises from the animations shown in the reveal trailer, which appear somewhat static to me. While fully animating these illustrations is challenging, I'm hopeful that the final release will feature more dynamic effects when it launches on mobile later this year.
