Pokemon TCG Pocket Unveils Shining Revelry, Hints at Ranked Matches

The latest expansion for Pokémon TCG Pocket, titled "Shining Revelry," has brought a dazzling array of over 110 new cards into the game, including shiny variants that have got collectors buzzing with excitement. As a fan, I couldn't resist diving right in, using my Pack Hourglasses to open ten packs. My haul? A coveted Charizard EX, alongside a useful Pokémon Center Lady card, which is great for healing Special Conditions like Burns—a handy asset in any deck.

The expansion doesn't just stop at new cards; it also introduces additions from the Paldea region, enriching the game's universe even further. Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting, these shiny additions are sure to enhance your gameplay experience.

Alongside the card packs, the update rolls out an exciting new feature: Ranked Matches. This mode will test your skills as you battle other Trainers, climbing from Beginner to the prestigious Master Ball Rank. Points earned in these matches will be displayed, and at the end of the season—approximately one month from now—you'll receive a special emblem to showcase your achievements. It's time to dust off those dueling skills and start strategizing with your deck builds.

If you're eager to jump into the action, Pokémon TCG Pocket is available for free on both the App Store and Google Play, with optional in-app purchases.
