Unlocking the Pet System

You can unlock the Pet System once your character reaches base level 60. At this point, a set of introductory quests becomes available, walking you through buying a slingshot, loading it, and unlocking the Pet Encyclopedia. How to Capture Pets

Capturing pets is a simple yet strategic process. All pets are categorized into different rarity tiers, which determine their likelihood of appearing when you attempt to catch them. The quality of the pet you obtain is random, with these probabilities:

What is Pet Quality Transfer

You can transfer the quality of a higher-tier pet to another of the same species while keeping the receiving pet’s level and experience intact. This procedure requires two identical pets—one with superior quality—and costs 5,000 Zeny. The transfer lets you enhance your pets without sacrificing their progress.

Pet Awakening Skills

Pets can unlock up to four awakening skill slots to improve their combat performance. Unlocking these slots requires skill sheets, which can only be obtained from the Pet Book Vending Machine (the Gacha system). The number of slots a pet can unlock is determined by its quality tier and star rank.

Pet Stamina Explained

Pets have a stamina system, with each one starting with 720 stamina points—enough for 120 minutes of active deployment. Stamina is the core resource that enables pets to function. Unfortunately, you cannot use a pet all day, as the stamina system limits continuous use. Stamina decreases by one point every 10 seconds while the pet is active.
