Re-rolling your Avowed character? This guide shows you how to respec abilities, attributes, and even your companion.
Why Respec?
Choosing the right build at the start of Avowed can be tricky. This guide helps you adjust if your initial choices aren't working out, allowing you to optimize your character for combat effectiveness and create your ideal build. Whether you need a complete overhaul or just a few tweaks, respeccing is your solution.
Respeccing Abilities

To reset your ability points, open the in-game menu and select "Abilities." At the bottom, you'll find the "Reset Points" option. The cost (initially 100 Copper Skeyt) increases as you progress. Confirm the reset to redistribute your points across skill trees (excluding the unchangeable "Godlike" abilities).
Respeccing Attributes

Happy with your abilities but not your attributes? Navigate to the "Character" section of the menu. Underneath your attribute list, you'll find a button to reset attribute points. Like ability resets, this also costs Copper Skeyt (starting at 100), and the price increases with gameplay.
Respeccing Companions

Want to adjust your companion's build? Go to the "Abilities" menu, then the "Companions" tab. Under your companion's name, you'll find a button to respec their abilities for a Copper Skeyt cost. Note: each companion requires a separate respec.
Now you're ready to optimize your Avowed experience! Avowed is available now.
