Roland-Garros eSeries returns in 2025 with even more excitement, bringing players from around the globe to the virtual clay courts of Tennis Clash. Following last year’s massive success, this year’s tournament introduces a fresh team-based format, legendary tennis captains, and an impressive €5,000 prize pool.
Once again, Renault and Mastercard are onboard as key sponsors. This year, players can elevate their experience by customizing their characters with official Roland-Garros 2025 outfits and using the exclusive Renault 5 Roland-Garros racket string for added flair on the court.
The Roland-Garros eSeries officially begins in March with open qualifiers serving as the first stage for players to earn a spot in the grand finals. There will be three qualifying phases:
These stages will determine which top contenders advance to the final showdown.
Notably, the best female players from the first two qualifiers will receive automatic qualification, joining the overall winners in the next round. The real action kicks off when the finalists compete live at the Roland-Garros Tenniseum Auditorium on May 24th, with the entire event broadcasted live on Twitch for global audiences.
This year brings a major twist to the competition: a brand-new team-based format. Instead of competing solo, finalists will be divided into teams, each guided by a renowned name in French tennis.
One confirmed captain is Gilles Simon, the former ATP world No. 6 and Davis Cup champion. Simon has been part of the eSeries since 2023, both as a commentator and player in 2024’s Top 8. Now, he steps into the role of coach, leading one of the squads.
As for his rival captain? Organizers have dropped hints that it’s a Grand Slam champion, though the identity remains under wraps—adding even more anticipation to the event.
Once the teams are finalized, the battle intensifies. The winning team from the initial phase will enter the double-elimination bracket from the winners' side, while the losing team must fight back from the losers' bracket.
Returning to defend his title is reigning champion Alessandro ΔLEX Bianco, who will face fierce competition alongside the previous Grand Tour finalists. With over 548,000 participants from 215 countries last year, this year promises to be even more competitive.
In celebration of Women’s Day, Tennis Clash is offering a special reward: a trip to Paris for the top female and overall performers.
Don’t miss out—download the game now from the Google Play Store and prepare for the ultimate digital tennis showdown at the Roland-Garros eSeries 2025.
