Season 1 Event Missions of Marvel Rivals Thrill Fans

Marvel Rivals players are buzzing with excitement over the Midnight Features event quests introduced in Season 1: Eternal Night Falls. NetEase Games has much to celebrate as Marvel Rivals was recently nominated for a DICE award and topped PlayStation's Players' Choice for December 2024. The new season also saw the game breaking its concurrent player record on Steam, marking a significant achievement for the popular hero shooter.

As Season 1: Eternal Night Falls unfolds, NetEase Games is already setting expectations for the future. In a recent interview, the developers revealed plans to introduce a new playable hero to Marvel Rivals every month and a half. While Season 1 will see the entire Fantastic Four making their debut within three months, future seasons will feature less content. Nevertheless, fans are thrilled about the prospect of seeing more of their favorite characters added to the game at a consistent pace.

On Reddit, user Useful_You_8045 praised the Midnight Features event quests of Season 1, particularly appreciating their availability across multiple game modes. These quests can be completed in Quick Play, Competitive, or against AI, offering players a low-stakes environment to experiment with new heroes and tackle challenges. Many players have expressed satisfaction with the rewards in Season 1, including a Gallery Card that provides the first glimpse of Blade in Marvel Rivals.

Marvel Rivals’ Midnight Features Event Quests Are a Hit With Fans

Fans have also noted the enhanced visual presentation of the event quests, which adds to their significance within the season. When accessing the Events tab, players encounter a Midnight Features newspaper where each headline and image introduces new quests. The animated images bring the pages of the Daily Bugle's paper to life. While not all quests are currently available, they are expected to fully unlock on January 17. Completing all event quests will reward players with a free Thor skin in Marvel Rivals.

The community has been vocal about their appreciation for the improvements NetEase Games made in Season 1. Players now receive two free skins in the battle pass instead of one, and the season boasts new maps, a new game mode, and balance changes to ensure fairness among the game's extensive character roster. With NetEase Games' keen attention to detail and responsiveness to community feedback, players are optimistic about the future of Marvel Rivals.
