Maintaining your footwear in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is crucial; worn-out shoes leave you vulnerable. This guide details how to acquire and repair shoes.
Acquiring Shoes:
While you begin with a pair, replacement options abound. Loot chests, defeated poachers, and other enemies for potential shoe finds. Alternatively, purchase shoes from vendors.
Tailors sometimes sell shoes (e.g., in Troskowitz), but cobblers offer superior quality. Locate a cobbler—their map icon resembles three red circles—as early as Trosky.

Cobblers, like Matthew in Trosky, sell various goods beyond shoes, including horse equipment, Blacksmith's Kits, and Cobbler's Kits.

Repairing Shoes:
Several methods exist for shoe repair. Cobblers and blacksmiths offer repair services; the cost varies based on your Craftsmanship skill level and associated perks, which provide repair discounts.
Alternatively, self-repair is possible, contingent on your Craftsmanship skill. Insufficient skill prevents repair. A Cobbler's Kit is required for self-repair.

Obtain Cobbler's Kits from various vendors (cobblers, blacksmiths), chests, or looted NPCs. In your inventory, select the kit and use the interact key ("E" on PC). A menu appears, listing repairable items. Faded items indicate insufficient skill. Select items and use the interact key again to repair. The Blacksmith's Kit functions similarly for other equipment. While self-repair is an option, utilizing vendor services remains a viable strategy for maintaining your gear.
